 Brokenshire Woman Center Building One of the highlights of the occasion is the blessing and inauguration of its latest project – the Brokenshire Woman Center (BWC). The BWC becomes the hub of the Brokenshire Memorial Hospital’s outpatient services for women healthcare including diagnostics, consultations & counseling, and education & development undertakings managed by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. The fertility Care Center – Davao will also be relocated in this building.
In the second floor are twenty-three private patient rooms while the third floor is the Delivery Room/ Operating Room Complex. Invited to grace the occasion are dignitaries from the City Government of Davao, Department of Health, Philippine Health Insurance Corporation, United Church of Christ in the Philippines, and former and incumbent BIHMI Trustees.
A Thanksgiving Service precedes the blessing with Trustee Bethsaida K. Suarez, M.D. as main speaker, with partnership messages from heads of Brokenshire College, Brokenshire Alumni Foundation Incorporated, Brokenshire International Foundation, UCCP Social Concerns Foundation, Davao Medical School Foundation, Brokenshire Women’s Auxiliary, Brokenshire Medical Staff Organization, Brokenshire Multi Diagnostic Services Corporation, and the UCCP.
A Posthumous Award will be given to Bishop Lorenzo C. Genotiva, former Chairperson of the BIHMI / Board of Trustees who was one of those instrumental in the conception of the new Brokenshire Integrated Health Ministries, Inc.
The BIHMI Family will have an afternoon and evening of Palarong Kasiyahan, Kantahan at Kasiyahan “which will be capped by a swimming fellowship at the Brokenshire Resort & Convention Center located within its 14-hectares Madapo compound.
